SBIS™

The Site Biometric Identification System (SBIS) from Photobase is a secure biometric site access control and ID Card production system intended for use within the construction and engineering industry. This solution is ideal for organisations wishing to control and record access to their sites and establishments.

The software combines fingerprint technology and a photograph for fast positive identification and verification of visitors to site and allows for logging of time spent on site(s). SBIS will also produce various reports and associated data such as time spent on site by a particular contractor or individual. The system can be configured as stand alone or networked to expand and integrate with contractor or visitor access control to specific areas within the establishment or to identify the visitor in specific areas.

SBIS is an established system and is based on technology in use by UK Prisons and Police Forces. Photobase provides support and maintenance throughout the UK.
