Successful Prison NOMIS Integration for HM Prisons

Photobase is pleased to confirm that all SIPS systems (VBIS and IBIS) can now fully integrate with PNOMIS.

Following a successful upgrade at HMP Moorland last week, Photobase engineers upgraded the Biometric systems at HMP Kennet on Monday to coincide with the institutions go-live with the new Ministry of Justice system, ensuring that no down-time was suffered, and all existing Inmate data was preserved.

All Photobase systems can now be upgraded to integrate with PNOMIS and Photobase can also provide Sys-Extracts to support 5x5, and Healthcare systems.

Photobase`s SD Manager Antony Panteli said: `It is fantastic to reassure all our customers within the Criminal Justice system that we can totally minimise the impact of PNOMIS upon their existing systems and processes.

Our PNOMIS solutions are almost completely transparant to the end users and require minimal deviation from exising practices to maintain all existing functionality.`

The Photobase PNOMIS solution for IBIS and VBIS was developed in collaboration with staff at HMP Moorland.

Photobase would remind institutions with pending PNOMIS go-lives that to ensure minimal disruption to their Biometric systems, we usually require a lead time of at least six weeks
